Statement

Christina’s work inspired me to review my daily tasks. That lead to asking what my purpose in life is. The answer made me re-member who I am, where I came from and what am I leaving behind as I go forward in life.

If every act has a 150 year ripple effect, then what happened 150 years ago? Here is what I discovered. In 1864 my ancestors came to Turtle Island. 150 years later here I am, as an artist imagining the future through acts of Reconciliation. In 2164 what I set in motion today bears fruit. How will that look? I must be conscious of my daily actions and choose what I set in motion. Let us never underestimate the effects of the decisions we make now. My cup is half full. Is yours? Choose. See you in 2164.
